Opening Weekend Sept. 14/15, 2024
Clarke Family Farms is the only pick-your-own fruit farm in the Hudson Valley that features organic apples. We also have apples treated with a program called integrated pest management which minimizes the amount of pesticides on the crop.
Our apples are fresh throughout the season since you pick them right off the tree!

Our conventional apples are grown under Integrated Pest Management (IPM), which uses a diversity of methods to naturally avoid the need for pesticide use, such as management practices that encourage a pest’s natural enemies to disrupting a pest’s life cycle, careful weather monitoring, and scouting for pest populations.
At Clarke’s, we never apply a spray unless there is a high enough pest problem to cause significant damage to the crops. If insect populations do exceed the economic threshold, we choose the least disruptive chemical control possible.
The goal of IPM is to minimize both health risks and ecological disruptions, while allowing us to continue to produce high quality fruit
